Sisi visits Eluwa School for Hearing and Visually Impaired Children once a week to work with a group of around 40 children with special needs. Their enthusiasm is tangible and the children are wonderful dancers. The hearing impaired children dance with perfect rhythm, using the vibration of the music to follow the steps. One visually impaired small boy is an excellent drummer, even introducing his own melodic riffs mid beat.

Classes are adjusted, where we have a mixed group, to ensure that all the children, whatever their abilities are able to join in.

Sisi offers classes to children with Downs syndrome, working with the parent’s group to ensure the classes meet the children’s needs and providing physical and mental stimulation to a group of children who have no access to schooling and are often isolated in the villages.
